Toward a Nash Equilibrium MARKAL?

An example of game theory is the classic Prisoners Dilemma. Suppose you and a friend are arrested for robbery. You are put in separate cells. The police lack sufficient evidence to convict either of you, so they try to get one of you to testify against each other. The police tell you that if you testify against your friend, you will be released, provided your friend does not testify against you. He, on the other hand, will get 15 years in prison. If neither of you testifies, you will each get only four months in jail. Your friend has been given the same options. What would you do? Puzzles such as these are the work of theorists such as Nobel Prize winner John Nash, who is now well known from the cinema A Beautiful Mind based partly on his life.
